Board of Directors

Top of the Ridge Day Care is a not-for-profit centre that provides quality child care in the community of Ridgeway. Being a not-for-profit organization, Top of the Ridge Day Care reinvests any profits back into the centre to purchase furnishings, materials and other items to allow us to continue our daily practice.

Top of the Ridge Day Care is governed by a volunteer group of members (current parents and community members), with elections occurring at every Annual General Meeting. Terms on the Board last for typically one year, or until the successor is appointed. 

Board Meetings for Top of the Ridge take place at the Head Office in Ridgeway. Typically meetings are anywhere from 1-2 hours. An agenda is sent out 1 week prior to the meeting to allow for any questions or points of further discussion. Minutes from the meetings are recorded and sent out to the Members for receipt and review.
