Inclement Weather

During inclement weather, the staff will make every effort to open the center. 

Top of the Ridge Day Care will follow the DSBN school closures for inclement weather. 

If a decision is made to close the center before 7:00 a.m., listen to the local radio stations, email, and/or other communications (Lillio, etc.; where applicable). 

Notice of closure will be communicated as soon as possible prior to opening. 

If the decision to open the center is made, and staff and children are at risk due to power outage, or worsened driving conditions the decision to close the center will be decided by the Supervisor/Designate.

Please note: if the centre is open and you choose not to have your child in attendance, full fees will still apply.

Alternatively, if the centre is closed due to inclement weather, a credit will be applied for the scheduled day.
