Preschool Program

In the Preschool Room(s), we provide many learning experiences suited to each child and their developmental abilities. 

• indoor and outdoor play (we are outdoors for a minimum of 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon - weather dependent)
• active and quiet play
• group and individual activities and games
• sensory experiences
• arts and crafts, painting, colouring, gluing and creating 
• music, dancing and singing songs
• books, sign language,  and visual schedules
• cooking/baking activities
• morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided
• rest/nap time after lunch (12:00-2:00 - adjusted for each individual child's needs)
• toilet training (showing signs of readiness)
• self-help skills (dressing/undressing, taking off and putting on shoes, cleaning up with some assistance)
